Inspired Secures Alberta Supplier Licence Ahead of iGaming Rollout

Inspired Entertainment confirmed on April 22, 2026, that it has obtained iGaming supplier registration in Alberta. The approval allows the company to supply online gaming content to licensed operators once the province opens its regulated market. The update was disclosed in the company’s official release.

The licence comes as Alberta moves toward a regulated iGaming framework. Current policy direction points to a system similar to Ontario, where multiple private operators can enter under provincial oversight. No launch date has been confirmed, but preparatory steps are already underway.

Inspired already works with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) through its land-based gaming products. Its terminals have been deployed across the province in recent years. The new registration extends that relationship into the online segment.
