PhilWeb Secures Exclusive Pragmatic Play Deal in Philippines
PhilWeb Corporation signed an exclusive partnership with Pragmatic Play on July 9, the Philippine Stock Exchange-listed company confirmed in a statement. Under the deal, PhilWeb will distribute Pragmatic Play’s gaming portfolio to licensed operators in the Philippines through hosted infrastructure and API integration. The rollout is set for the third quarter of 2026, subject to regulatory approval and individual operator agreements.
Under the arrangement, PhilWeb will host the technology layer that connects Pragmatic Play’s game catalogue to licensed operators. The company said the model relies on remote infrastructure and API-enabled integration, which lets operators offer Pragmatic Play titles without direct technical setup with the supplier. Access still depends on regulatory approval and separate contracts between PhilWeb and each operator.
Pragmatic Play already supplies gaming services to a substantial majority of online gaming operators licensed in the Philippines, according to PhilWeb. That current footprint gives the exclusivity agreement immediate relevance, since most licensed operators in the market already work with the supplier in some form.
Ng said the partnership supports PhilWeb’s long-term plan to expand its technology-enabled services business and deepen commercial ties with licensed operators. He added that the arrangement is designed to create a steady revenue stream tied to operator adoption.
The infrastructure built for this deal will also serve as a base for further partnerships with international gaming suppliers, according to the company. PhilWeb’s stated goal is a broader portfolio of technology services for regulated operators in the Philippines.
