Logifuture Takes Simulate Live with Hollywoodbets in South Africa

Logifuture has entered the South African betting market through a partnership with Hollywoodbets and launched its Simulate instant sports product for the operator’s customers. Hollywoodbets said it is the first operator to offer the product in the country.

Simulate lets customers recreate bets based on football, basketball and cricket events, with results generated within seconds. Users can also run several simulations at the same time.

The launch gives Hollywoodbets an additional betting format that sits alongside its conventional sportsbook and stays available outside live event schedules.

Niccolò Cassettari, chief business development officer at Logifuture, said the supplier selected Hollywoodbets because of the operator’s reach and knowledge of its customer base. He added that the South African launch represents an important market entry for the company.

Wayde Dorkin, head of product at Hollywoodbets, said the operator expects Simulate to add a faster betting format to its current product range. Hollywoodbets also confirmed that the launch forms part of an exclusive agreement, although neither company disclosed the length or commercial terms of the arrangement.

Neither company provided launch targets, revenue projections or expected customer uptake. Stake limits, event margins and responsible gambling controls specific to the product were not addressed either. South Africa gives Logifuture access to one of the continent’s most established betting markets.

💡TGJ Take

The key test is not how quickly Simulate settles bets, but whether Hollywoodbets can add incremental turnover rather than pull spend away from its current sportsbook. Instant products give operators more betting opportunities outside live schedules, but they also require tighter checks on session frequency and player behaviour. For Logifuture, an exclusive launch with a major local operator provides a strong reference account for further African expansion. Rival suppliers should watch whether the format gains repeat use after its initial launch period.
