How TGJ makes money
TGJ generates revenue through two primary channels: sponsored content and premium directory listings. We may also sell banner advertising on category and hub pages.
All commercial placements help fund the editorial operation that produces daily news, analysis and company profiles at no cost to the reader.
Sponsored content
Sponsored articles are paid placements published on TGJ. They are always clearly labelled as sponsored. They may appear on the site alongside editorial content but are never presented as independent reporting.
Sponsors may suggest a topic or brief, but our team controls the final output. We do not publish sponsored content that contradicts known facts or misrepresents the state of the market.
Premium directory listings
Our Directory includes editorial profiles of companies across the iGaming industry. Base listings are free and written independently by our editorial team.
Companies can pay for a premium listing, which includes expanded coverage and priority placement. Premium listings are marked accordingly. The editorial content within a premium listing is still written by our team and held to the same factual standards as a base listing. Companies do not write or approve their own profiles.
Banner and display advertising
TGJ may carry banner advertising across category pages, hub pages and the homepage. These placements are sold on a fixed-fee basis and are visually distinct from editorial content.
What advertising does not buy
Paying for any form of advertising on TGJ does not influence our news coverage, our editorial positions in TGJ Takes, or the factual content of directory profiles.
A company that advertises with us receives the same editorial treatment as any other. We do not offer favourable coverage, suppress negative reporting or grant approval rights over editorial content in exchange for commercial relationships.
For the full details of our editorial standards, see our Editorial Policy.
