Wazdan Enters YoBingo.pt via L&W Aggregation With 10-Title Launch
Wazdan has launched 10 slot titles on YoBingo.pt, the recently licensed Portuguese operator backed by Rank International, with distribution handled through Light & Wonder’s aggregation network. The deal gives Wazdan a live footprint in Portugal’s SRIJ-regulated market without a direct integration, using L&W as the technical bridge.
The opening catalogue spans titles across Wazdan’s catalogue tiers, including 9 Lions, 25 Coins, Magic Spins, Moon of Fortune and the Grand Platinum and Grand Gold Edition variants of several flagship series. Wazdan confirmed further titles are planned for YoBingo.pt in the coming months, with no specific timeline or volume disclosed.
YoBingo.pt holds a Portuguese licence issued by SRIJ and is in the early phase of building its casino content library. Elisabete Lourenço, Portugal Country Manager at Rank International, said Wazdan’s titles add mechanical variety and production depth to the operator’s casino section. The comment points to a deliberate move away from a bingo-only identity, with YoBingo.pt broadening its offer to compete across casino verticals.
Magdalena Wojdyla, Head of Account Management at Wazdan, said the launch reflects the supplier’s focus on regulated European markets, with the opening titles selected based on performance data from other licensed jurisdictions.
💡 TGJ Take
This is less a Wazdan story and more a case study in how new Portuguese operators are approaching content acquisition. Portugal’s online casino market operates under tight SRIJ licensing, with roughly a dozen active brands competing for a fixed licensed player base. A new entrant with a thin game library loses ground fast. Aggregation through Light & Wonder cuts integration time and gives operators access to multiple suppliers through a single contract, which is the practical answer to that problem. The follow-up releases will be the real indicator of how seriously Wazdan is treating Portugal: if the next wave brings newer titles with current mechanics, the supplier is building a market position. If it’s older catalogue content, this stays a one-off distribution deal. Rank International’s footprint in Europe also means the relationship has room to grow beyond YoBingo.pt.
