Sporting Risk Launches In-Play Multis to Improve Operator Margins

Sporting Risk launched its In-Play Pre-Canned Multis product on January 15, 2026, adding pre-built BetBuilder combinations delivered through live prompts during matches. The tool uses pricing models and data-led selection to surface ready-made bets based on match context.

This approach removes a key delay in in-play betting, where users often need time to build a multi manually while odds continue to move. By presenting selections that are already structured and priced, the tool allows users to act faster during live events and stay active at moments when interest is highest.

The product also reflects a wider shift in sportsbook design, where suggested bets and in-play prompts are becoming more common across interfaces. Rather than expanding the number of available markets, suppliers are now focused on how bets are presented and when they appear during the match.

This has a knock-on effect for affiliates as well, especially those driving traffic to BetBuilder features. If more bets are placed through in-product prompts, user intent becomes less visible in conversion paths, which may change how traffic performance is measured and valued.

For operators, the change is less about convenience and more about control over betting behaviour. Since the combinations are defined in advance, operators can guide users toward specific outcomes instead of leaving all choices open, which can influence both the distribution of stakes and the overall margin on BetBuilder bets.

TGJ Take

Pre-built multis change how BetBuilder is used day to day. Operators are no longer just offering tools, they are deciding which bets get shown during live play. That gives them more control over margin, but it also means user choice becomes more limited. Suppliers need to move in this direction if they want to stay relevant. Affiliates should watch how this affects conversions, as bets coming from prompts do not behave the same as ones users build themselves.
