Thunderpick Tests Oddin.gg BetPeek to Keep Live Bettors On-Site

Thunderpick launched BetPeek with Oddin.gg on 12 September 2025, making the tool available on Thunderpick.io for Counter-Strike 2 majors. Thunderpick said bettors can switch to any player POV, place the camera across the map, use X-ray mode, and replay rounds with pause and rewind controls inside the same betting window.

The business case sits in live betting. In its 2024 operator review, Oddin.gg said 85% of Dota 2 bets on its network were placed live. The same report said betting volume in 2024 rose 90% year on year in Counter-Strike 2, 61% in Dota 2, 175% in League of Legends, and 99% in Valorant, which helps explain why suppliers now focus on keeping bettors active during the match, not only before it starts.

BetPeek tries to solve a simple sportsbook problem: bettors leave the site to watch a better feed or check more details, then some of them do not return. Oddin.gg says the tool can be added by iframe or API, with launch possible in four to six weeks, while Thunderpick says the feed runs with low latency and adds pause and rewind controls that normal tournament broadcasts do not offer.

Thunderpick’s launch also shows where the first commercial use case sits. The initial rollout focused on CS2 majors, where bettors can watch live games from any player’s point of view and track rounds in real time from multiple angles. That makes BetPeek easier to judge as a retention product than as a pure acquisition tool.

TGJ Take

This matters less as a flashy product launch and more as a retention test for sportsbooks that already take esports seriously. If live bettors keep leaving the site for Twitch, YouTube or a second screen, odds quality alone will not fix the problem. Suppliers that keep video, data and betting in one place will win more operator budget in 2026. Operators, meanwhile, should ask for hard numbers on bet count, hold and repeat visit rate before treating interaction metrics as proof of commercial value.
