TaDa Gaming Adds Sunbet as South Africa Content Partner

TaDa Gaming has signed a content partnership with Sunbet, one of South Africa’s established online gaming and sports betting operators. The deal gives Sunbet customers access to TaDa’s casino portfolio, including titles from its Fortune Gems series, with distribution handled through Light & Wonder Inc.

Founded in 2010, Sunbet operates under the Sun International group and holds licences in South Africa, Botswana and Namibia, with headquarters in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Central to the agreement is TaDa’s mobile-first content, developed around local player preferences. The supplier also won the SiGMA Africa Slot Newcomer of the Year 2025 award.

Two titles lead the initial rollout: Fortune Gems 500, which TaDa identifies as the top slot across African jurisdictions, and Rapid Gems 777, a retro-style slot the supplier says has become a player favourite.

Ray Lee, Director of Business Development at TaDa Gaming, said the deal provides opportunities to develop the supplier’s localisation work and reach more South African players. Tyler Gentle, Casino Product Manager at Sunbet, pointed to the accessibility and repeat-play value of TaDa’s titles as the primary reason for their addition to Sunbet’s lineup.

💡TGJ Take

This is a market access deal for TaDa, not just a content announcement. South Africa remains one of the clearest entry points for suppliers that want regulated African exposure, and Sunbet provides a recognised local operator with an established market position. Light & Wonder’s role in distribution removes one more operational barrier. For other game providers that watch the region, the key variable is no longer which games to offer. It is which operator and aggregator combination unlocks the market fastest.
