Internet gaming win reached $276.3 million in May, up 11.9% from $246.8 million in May 2025. That result exceeded the $265.6 million recorded by Atlantic City’s nine casino hotels, which edged up just 0.1% year on year. Year-to-date online casino revenue rose to $1.32 billion, a 14.4% increase over the same period last year.
On the sports betting side, the picture was different. Sportsbook gross revenue fell 16.9% to $85.2 million, compared with $102.5 million in May 2025. Year-to-date sports wagering revenue also slipped, down 1.0% to $455.7 million.

Further down the rankings, the growth rates told a different story. Hard Rock Bet produced $18.3 million, up 39.7%. Fanatics Casino reached $13.5 million, up 115.7%, and BetRivers reported $12.4 million, up 54.3%. Borgata added $22.4 million, Caesars Palace produced $19.0 million, and Golden Nugget reported $10.8 million. Bet365, BetParx and Mohegan Sun also posted gains across the month, per the NJDGE report.
💡TGJ Take
New Jersey’s May numbers show a market split into two tracks: online casino keeps growing, while sports betting failed to match last year’s May result. For operators, the pressure is not just to grow iGaming revenue, but to do it against a top three that already controls more than half of the online casino total. Affiliates should watch Fanatics, BetRivers and Hard Rock Bet closely. Their growth rates suggest they may still be more active on acquisition than the established leaders, which gives affiliates a clear reason to test commercial terms with those brands.
