Evolution Takes Michigan Live Coverage to Two Studios

Evolution opened a live dealer studio in Grand Rapids, Michigan on May 14. The facility is the supplier’s second in the state and seventh across the US. Michigan-licensed operators will access titles from both Evolution’s core portfolio and sister brand Ezugi.

The Grand Rapids studio launches with Blackjack, Roulette, and Baccarat. Through Ezugi, operators will gain access to EZ Baccarat and Triple Zero Roulette. Ice Fishing and XXXtreme Lightning Roulette are scheduled to go live at the studio later in 2026.

Evolution first entered Michigan in 2021. Jacob Claesson, CEO of Evolution North America, described the state as “an important market” and said the Grand Rapids studio increases capacity to serve operators and players across the state. Claesson also cited local job creation in Grand Rapids as part of the investment rationale, though no headcount figures were disclosed.

The opening continues Evolution’s active push into regulated US states. In April 2026, the supplier launched Monopoly Live in Connecticut, the product’s first US appearance since its 2019 global debut.

TGJ Take

Seven studios across multiple regulated US states is a structural position competitors will not close quickly. For Michigan operators, the practical benefit is clear: more tables reduce scheduling pressure and improve availability during peak hours, particularly for brands that run dedicated live environments. The Ezugi angle deserves attention: it gives operators access to a distinct product catalogue without a supplier change, which deepens Evolution’s commercial hold on accounts. As additional US states move toward online casino legislation, the supplier’s studio infrastructure will be a key variable in which game providers land anchor deals first.
