Americas Cardroom Sets $10m for First Run Up Series
Americas Cardroom will launch its inaugural Run Up Series on July 12, with a five-week schedule that offers more than $10m in guaranteed prize pools across 163 online poker tournaments. Americas Cardroom said in a statement that the series will run through August 17, although its published schedule lists three final tables on August 18.
The programme covers a range of tournament formats and buy-in levels. Its headline event is a $1m-guaranteed Mystery Bounty tournament with a $66 buy-in and a top bounty of $100,000.
Day 1 flights for the Mystery Bounty event will run daily from July 12 through August 17. Day 2 will follow on August 17, while the official schedule lists the final table for August 18.
Three Main Events Close the Schedule
The final weekend of the series will feature three Main Events. Day 1 for each tournament will begin on August 16, with Day 2 set for August 17.
The largest Main Event carries a $750,000 guarantee and a $1,050 buy-in. A second event offers a $400,000 guarantee for a $215 entry fee, while the lowest-priced Main Event has a $33 buy-in and a $200,000 guarantee.
The official schedule lists final tables for the $750,000 and $400,000 Main Events on August 18. No separate August 18 final table appears for the $33 event.
Separate High and Low leaderboard competitions will run throughout the series. The operator will add $100,000 in prizes: cash, Venom No-Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha tickets, and Venom Mega Satellite packages.
The High leaderboard winner will receive $10,000 and entries to both Venom tournaments, while the Low leaderboard winner will collect $5,000 and the same pair of Venom entries.
💡TGJ Take
The $66 Mystery Bounty tournament gives affiliates the clearest acquisition angle, since it combines a seven-figure guarantee with an entry price below the three Main Events. Daily flights also give Americas Cardroom more than a month to convert new entrants into repeat tournament customers. The separate High and Low leaderboards support retention across different bankroll levels. Marketing teams should still treat August 18 as the true close of the series, not August 17.
