Coljuegos Licenses MrYoker as Colombia’s Operator Count Hits 15
Coljuegos approved MrYoker’s entry into Colombia’s regulated online market on 26 May 2026, published through Bulletin No. 22. Under concession contract C2261 of 2026, the licence runs to 2031 and covers sports betting, live casino and virtual slot products.
Over the five-year concession period, Coljuegos projects MrYoker could generate COP 2.83 trillion in gross revenue. The licence is also expected to produce COP 27.28bn in monopoly rights and administrative fees, funds directed to Colombia’s subsidised healthcare system.
At sector level, authorised portals have already paid Coljuegos COP 253.22bn in exploitation rights in 2026. Total transfers are forecast to exceed COP 450bn by year-end.
MrYoker joins 14 previously licensed operators: Wplay, Betsson, Codere, Luckia, BetPlay, Rushbet, YaJuego, Bingo Casino, Bwin, Betano, Rivalo, Sportium, Zamba and Stake.
TGJ Take
Colombia now has 15 licensed online operators, and the financial structure behind each licence matters as much as the count. The COP 27.28bn in projected monopoly rights from MrYoker alone shows the concession model generates meaningful healthcare revenue. That fiscal return is the political argument that keeps Colombia’s licence window open. For affiliates, the 15-brand roster is the only safe traffic list; unlicensed alternatives carry no payment protection. For suppliers, a 2031 concession gives MrYoker enough runway to justify integration investment.
