Aristocrat Launches Michigan iLottery System Under Six-Year Deal
Aristocrat Interactive went live with its full-service iLottery solution for the Michigan Lottery on July 17. The launch starts a new six-year agreement that names Aristocrat as the lottery’s primary technology and services provider through July 2032, with options for six additional one-year extensions.
The rollout includes four Aristocrat Interactive systems: NeoSphere for player account management, NeoDraw for draw games, NeoCube for business intelligence and NeoEngage for customer and data management.
Aristocrat also partnered with lottery software provider Gambyt to build a new Michigan Lottery website and mobile app. NeoGames Studio will continue to supply eInstant and draw-based games under the agreement.
To support the contract, Aristocrat opened an office in Lansing, Michigan, staffed by more than 60 digital and lottery specialists.
Chris Shaban, Managing Director of Aristocrat Interactive iLottery, said the launch marks a new phase in a relationship with the Michigan Lottery that started in 2014 through a joint venture and now continues exclusively under Aristocrat Interactive. He said the new system will support responsible gambling and generate revenue for public education in the state.
According to Aristocrat Interactive, the Michigan Lottery ranks among the top five US iLottery programmes by gross sales per capita. The company did not disclose the financial value of the agreement.

The contract puts Aristocrat in charge of most of Michigan Lottery’s digital infrastructure: player accounts, draw systems, customer data and content. For suppliers, the deal shows the value of a connected product suite over separate point solutions. The switch from a joint venture to a direct, exclusive contract also shows how Aristocrat now runs its lottery accounts as a single unit after the NeoGames deal. With six possible one-year extensions on the table, this could become one of Aristocrat’s longest-running lottery accounts, not a one-off rollout.
