About Aeropay

Aeropay is a pay-by-bank payment company built for the US online gaming market. Daniel Muller founded the business and serves as CEO. The company is privately held, with gaming accounting for approximately 80% of total revenue, per its CEO’s public statements.

The payment stack covers four products: bank account linking (Aerosync), deposits, instant payouts, and fraud prevention (Guard). Guard uses AI models trained on gaming-specific transaction data to block suspicious payments before processing. The full stack runs through a single API, with no third-party components in the critical payment path.

Aeropay operates across US real-money gaming verticals including sportsbooks, daily fantasy sports, iCasinos, and prediction markets. PrizePicks and Dabble are among its publicly named clients. In October 2024, Worldpay integrated Aeropay’s account-to-account services for its gaming merchant base.

Market Coverage & Operator Value

ODFI partners include Cross River Bank and UBank, both with prior experience in online gaming transactions. Aeropay holds membership in the Fantasy Sports and Gaming Association and the Coalition for Fantasy Sports. A Series B round closed in May 2024, bringing total disclosed funding to approximately $25 million.

Card decline rates in US gaming regularly exceed 20%. Bank-direct routing removes card networks from the flow entirely, cutting per-transaction costs and improving first-attempt approval rates. The solution is US-only, most relevant to operators with a domestically concentrated player base.
